KNX General Working Principle

The KNX system BUS line consists of the KNX cable (2x2x 0.8) and the sensors (switch, detector, thermostat) ,actuators (driver) , all units that are connected to this line. The KNX system elements are set according to their functions and they work according to these parameters. KNX elements communicate with each other without a central control unit via the KNX line, which they are connected to and perform their functions. This is one of the advantages of the KNX system compared to other systems. Any sensor (on/off and dim switch, movement or presence detector, light level sensor, thermostat, etc.) sends the information to the actuators in the system. This information is carried out in actuators (opening unit, Dim control Unit, Curtain shutter control unit, solenoid valve, fan coil unit, etc.) with the installed programs to perform the commands they receive.
